Startup Point is the service center for aspiring founders at the University of Salzburg and part of the Startup Salzburg initiative. Through targeted measures and programs, it promotes a vibrant startup culture among students, researchers, and alumni.

We are your first point of contact for all questions related to entrepreneurship! Our goal is to foster the entrepreneurial spirit at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg and to support you in turning your ideas into reality. Research and academic studies provide the perfect foundation for innovative projects, which is why we encourage all students, researchers, and staff at the university to pursue their startup ideas.

The Startup Point at the University of Salzburg is a partner and founding institution of the Salzburg network incubator Startup Salzburg. With the support of the Province of Salzburg, Startup Salzburg forms a consortium of six partner institutions: Innovation Salzburg, Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, University of Salzburg, Mozarteum University Salzburg, and Schloss Seeburg Private University. Our shared mission is to elevate startup support at Salzburg’s universities to the next level, uncover entrepreneurial potential, and provide targeted assistance.
