Browsers & versions

  • According to the software manufacturer Ex Libris, the following browsers have been tested and are certified according to
    W3C standards:- Apple Safari in the current versions.
    – Google Chrome in the respective current versions.
    – Mozilla Firefox in the respective current versions.
    – Microsoft EDGE and Internet Explorer 11.
    Mobile operating systems: IOS from version 9 and Android from Marshmallow.Javascript and SSl 3.0 must be activated!
  • With older browser versions you may experience display problems in UBsearch.
    Suggested solution: perform a browser update to the latest version.

Login problems with UBsearch

Login problems are in the least cases technical problems and are in most cases due to passwords that are no longer known. Since resetting passwords via sometimes also causes problems, you can request a reset by mail.
