Course registration and consultation

Summer semester 2026

• General information: personal registration and placement tests

  Registration for all courses can only be made personally at the Language Centre Office during the given registration period and opening times.
  
  Registrations cannot be made per email or by telephone.
  
  Salzburg university students please note: registration via PLUSonline is not possible either.  
  
  You may also need to take a placement test at the Language Centre before you can register for a course. Please make sure you have enough time for consultation (and placement test if necessary) and registration (approx. 45 minutes).
  
  Please also note the information under course selection and placement as well as the general information about our courses (course fees, language levels, cancellation deadline, etc.).

• Registration period for external course participants, staff, MORE students and Alumni Club members: 09.02.2026–12.02.2026

  Please note: You need an appointment to register in person at the Language Centre. Appointments for the general registration period can be booked online via this page from Wednesday, 04.02.2026, 08:30.
  
  Please note: The link for making appointments will only work from 04.02. at 8.30 am. Please update your browser if necessary.
  
  Students and staff of the University Salzburg: Please follow the steps below to register:
  STEP 1: Log in to   PLUSonline.
  STEP 2: Go back to this website of the Language Centre and click on the registration link below.
  
  External course participants can click directly on the link below.
  
  Please note that registering for an appointment is not a course registration. If you have booked an appointment but are unable to attend, please let us know so that the appointment can be rescheduled.
  
  Note on data protection: We store the personal data you enter in the online form for the purpose of making an appointment. Your data will be deleted at the end of the registration phase.

• General registration period for Salzburg University and Mozarteum students: 16.02.2026 – 13.03.2026

  During the general registration period students of the University of Salzburg and the Mozarteum can register and external students, Alumni Club members, staff and MORE students can continue to register during this period.
  
  Please note: You need an appointment to register in person at the Language Centre. Appointments for the general registration period can be booked online via this page from Wednesday, 11.02.2026, 08:30.
  
  Please note: The link to make an appointment will only work from 11.02. at 8.30 am. Please refresh your browser if necessary.
  
  Students and staff of the University of Salzburg: Please follow the steps below to register:

  Important: Staff, external participants, alumni, and MORE participants* can register during this period, too.

• To register you need:

  – Course number and course name and, if required, the result of the placement test. Placement tests are taken at the Language Centre, see course selection and placement .
  – a valid e-mail address and telephone number
  – course fee (debit or credit card, cash payments are not possible)
  – for Salzburg University and Mozarteum students: the student ID card valid for the current semester or confirmation of enrolment
  
  Please make sure you have enough time for consultation (and placement test if necessary) and registration (approx. 45 minutes).
  
  Registration is only possible in person at the Language Centre office. Registration by telephone or e-mail is not possible.
