Research interests: Methodological issues of the integration of GIS, Earth observation and image processing for human-environment interaction. Research interests: Developing innovative GeoAI approaches to study human–environment interactions and to analyze environmental change and its societal impacts (e.g., natural hazards, anthropogenic damage events, and environmental risks). Research interests: Integrating geospatial technologies and ecosystem services frameworks to support sustainable urban development and climate resilience, with focus on environmental planning, urban ecosystem services, urban heat island (UHI) mitigation, urban ecology, and climate change adaptation.
Research interests: Applying remote sensing technologies for environmental policy compliance, investigating satellite-based data applications for monitoring and enforcing protocols such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and advancing (deep) machine learning models for processing and analyzing satellite imagery with emphasis on datasets supporting environmental sustainability.
Research interests: Focus on geoinformatics, with a particular emphasis on spatial decision support systems for sustainable agricultural land-use planning. My doctoral research focuses on developing conceptual foundations and methodological workflows to support optimized land (plot) allocation for agricultural crops under diverse environmental and socio-economic constraints, following multi-criteria and multi-objective optimization approaches.

Research interests: Applying remote sensing technology to vegetation dynamic monitoring, with current focus on investigating succession characteristics of vegetation restoration and drought resistance assessment in open-pit coal mines in northern China.
Research interests: Applying remote sensing technologies to investigate land degradation and desertification processes, analyzing vegetation cover change dynamics, and monitoring land use/cover change patterns.
