Anselm Skuhra is Assoc. Professor at the PSc Department of the University of Salzburg. He holds a PhD from the University of Vienna (1973), 1972/74 he was a scholar at the Institute of Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna. As a guest lecturer he taught e.g. at the Universities of Denver-GSIS, Col., Tübingen, Sarajevo, and Beijing FSU. He is the author of more than 40 articles or book contributions and (co-)edited numerous special issues and books, e.g. EU and Russia (2007), EU Eastern Enlargement (2005), and Europeanization versus Nationalism (2000). For two decades Skuhra was a member of the Advisory Councils for Development Policy of the Salzburg provincial government and of the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution. He serves on the editorial boards of the Austrian Political Science Journal (ÖZP), the Austrian Journal of Development Studies (JEP), the Scientific Board of the Center for Global Change and Governance (CGCG), Rutgers University, N.J., and was a founding member of the Standing Group on International Relations (SGIR) of the ECPR. 2003-6 he participated in an OSI/Budapest project in the Ukraine and led an EU project in Russia. He teaches courses on international and EU politics, currently his research focuses on global governance and international organizations.
