Commitment to equal opportunities and the advancement of women
Our principle
The University strives to promote equal and respectful cooperation between women and men of all genders at all functional levels in academic, artistic, and non‑academic fields. It is committed to creating and maintaining a working environment that supports this goal. The University raises awareness among its members about discrimination on the basis of gender, particularly in cases of sexual and/or gender‑related harassment or criminal acts against sexual integrity and self‑determination.
Career Mentoring III
Career Mentoring III is an interuniversity career development programme offered by the Universities of Salzburg, Linz and Krems for women researchers* (the term women researchers includes all persons who identify as women, inter*, and/or non‑binary). It combines discipline‑specific mentoring, individual coaching sessions, and tailored seminar offerings for doctoral candidates* and postdoctoral researchers*. The aim is to strengthen the academic careers of women* and increase their chances of attaining leadership positions. The programme specifically promotes interuniversity networking and interdisciplinary exchange.
ditact women’s IT summer school
