As an apprentice at the University of Salzburg, you can register for USI courses before the official registration periods and benefit from discounted rates for sports and training programmes. In this way, we actively promote your physical activity and health.

Preparation courses for the final apprenticeship examination (LAP)

For preparation for the final apprenticeship examination, the HR Development Unit provides financial support if additional courses outside vocational school are required.
Internal training opportunities

The University of Salzburg’s comprehensive internal training programme is of course also available to our apprentices. In addition to the general training programme, the apprenticeship coordination office organises dedicated courses specifically for apprentices.

Support for combining an apprenticeship with the school‑leaving examination (Matura)

We support you on your path to the Matura and help you successfully balance work and school. The University offers the integrated model for the “Lehre mit Matura”, which allows apprentices to attend Matura courses on Fridays during working hours. Apprentices are released from work for examination dates.
Coverage of the Super School Card costs

The University covers the full cost of your Super School Card.
