Guidelines for carrying out external Master’s theses in the Master’s programme in Molecular Biology
External Master’s theses are scientific theses that are carried out under the supervision and instruction of external lecturers, for example supervisors who work at non-university research institutions, clinics, other universities or companies. If you intend to carry out an external Master’s thesis, please proceed as follows:
- Contact the CuKo Molecular Biology: (Salzburg) or (Linz)
- Find a suitable internal supervisor for your external Master’s thesis at the University of Salzburg (Department of Biosciences and Medical Biology) or at the JKU Linz.
- When carrying out your Master’s thesis together with your team of supervisors, adhere to the guidelines for external Master’s thesis (available in German only).
