Human Resources Development

The Human Resources Development unit actively supports all employees of the University of Salzburg throughout their entire academic career. It provides targeted assistance to managers in fulfilling their leadership and staff responsibilities through tailored programs. At the same time, the department fosters internal networking, offers professional guidance, and collaboratively develops needs-based measures for sustainable competence and organizational development.

Human Resources Development at the University of Salzburg designs target group-specific training and development programs for all areas and staff members of the university. At the core are tailored qualification and development initiatives aligned with the university’s strategic objectives as well as individual development needs. Through needs-oriented programs, HR Development supports applicants, academic and general staff, managers, and external target groups along their professional development paths. By offering practice-oriented training and organization-specific development measures, the department strengthens competencies, fosters talent, and contributes sustainably to achieving the strategic goals of the University of Salzburg.
