Sascha Kraus
About the Person
Sascha Kraus is a Full Professor of Management and Chairholder at the University of Siegen (Germany). He holds a Ph.D. in Social and Economic Sciences from the University of Klagenfurt (Austria), a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Helsinki University of Technology, and a habilitation from Lappeenranta University of Technology (both in Finland). Previously, he held full professorships at the University of Utrecht (Netherlands), the University of Liechtenstein, the École Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur in Paris (France), the University of Durham (United Kingdom), and the Free University of Bozen (Italy). Additionally, he held visiting professorships at the Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), and was an EECPCL-Participating Professor at Harvard University. The leading German financial magazine Wirtschaftswoche ranks Professor Kraus no. 3 in the category “Current Research Performance” and no. 9 in the category “Lifetime Achievement” in its 2024 ranking of all German-speaking business administration researchers.
