Martina Lang conducts research at the intersection of the climate crisis and the arts, with a focus on environmental psychology and participatory artistic practice. In her dissertation, she examines how multisensory installations can foster collective climate adaptation, emotional resilience, and social transformation.

Her approach combines data collection and qualitative research within designed aesthetic environments, with an emphasis on climate justice and embodied climate awareness. Her work builds on an interdisciplinary background in Art & Science (MA). Her current PhD project (The Dual Table) explores how participatory, aesthetic formats can support climate adaptation and social transformation following extreme events.
