Digitization today connects all sectors of society, so different disciplines also contribute to this curriculum: The basics of computer science are combined with geoinformatics as an ‘interface between the real and digital world’, human-machine interaction as well as communication and social sciences develop communicative competences, and economics as well as legal subjects establish perspectives and frameworks for innovative action.

The program is project-oriented and challenges students from the very beginning to solve problem-oriented and holistic tasks. The study location at the ‘Science City’ hub in Salzburg-Itzling offers a direct connection to applied and entrepreneurial perspectives.

A choice of different focus topics qualifies students for postgraduate master’s programs, for example geoinformatics, data science, or geography.
