Nevena Gantschnigg, BA, has been enrolled in the Master’s program in Political Science at the University of Salzburg since October 2026. She brings around 15 years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, most recently serving as Assistant to the Medical Director at the Hospital der Barmherzigen Brüder in Salzburg. She completed the majority of her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science while working full-time, graduating with highest honors. In her Bachelor’s thesis, she examined the relationship between corruption and public expenditure in OECD member states. Additionally, she completed supplementary language studies (Italian, French, Russian, and Swedish). Her research interests focus on societal transformation and the dynamics of belonging, representation, and political trust during periods of change.
